purse

It's ALMOST done. I found kits for making purses at Wal*Mart, go figure. Never thought I'd find anything like that there. So I got some material for handles, but I think I'm going to have to drill an extra hole in the sides so that it fits better.

I also got a magnetic latch for it, but don't think it's going to work. I need something different...unless...hmmmm...Actually, I could probably make the magnets work. Never mind. I'll need Dad's help with it, though, but it shouldn't be too hard. I'll just need some extra leather/vinyl stuff for it. Yeah.

So far, Lacey wants a purse. She has some Florida and Montana plates that I can use. And since she is my bestest friend...I suppose I can do that. For very little charge. But I really do want to sell them at a consignment store or something. There's a Global Market in Spearfish and in Rapid City. I could totally do it. I'd just have to come home on the weekends to bend the plates. If I could borrow or buy my own riveter and a drill...I'd be set.

Who knows. Depends on if people would actually want one or not. I've seen two other people who came into get their oil changed with those kinds of purses...but it's not like they're HUGE. I gotta quit talking myself outta this. I seemed to have misplaced my camera for the time being, so I'll get a picture up for you as soon as I find it.
